LOVE IT!

This is my eight Angie Grace coloring book. I also have purchased books for family members and it didn't take long for them to become Angie Grace fans too. I just finished the first picture from Transcend and I want to share it with you.

I've become a huge fan of Angie Grace books over the past few months and have acquired several. If you like patterns or mandalas, you will LOVE these books! Transcend measures up to the standard I've come to expect from all of Angie Grace books.The books are about average size and square - easy to carry around and color pretty much anywhere. They are only printed on one side of the page. The paper works wonderfully with alcohol markers (Bic, Sharpie, Copic, Spectrum Noir, etc.) The designs are beautifully intricate. Despite having a large series of books, each one feels truly unique and different.Yes, the paper is thin. I was not originally a fan of the paper until I realized how great the thin paper is for coloring with markers. Put a blotter page behind what you're coloring and don't get -quite- up to the edge with your marker, and it works like a charm. The thinner paper allows the color to "bleed" outward more, which helps create smoother coloring with overlap lines. Colored pencils work great on here too, as long as you aren't scratching at the paper or anything crazy.

Angie Grace's coloring books are the best! She has an unique drawing style that is full of whimsy and magic that takes you on such a relaxing journey. Her drawings are full of twists, turns, twirls, swirls, ribbons, and so much more. Several people can color the same image and interpret it completely different.This particular coloring book is full of drawings that have a variety of difficulty. There are 50 different images to color and each being unique. Want to challenge yourself? Pick a more difficult one. Or if you want just something quick to color, there are plenty images in here that have wider and more open spaces. Transcend is also a great coloring book to experiment with shading (with either colored pencils or markers) to get depth to your creations.If you're more into the mandala style coloring style you can't go wrong with any of her Extreme Stress Mender series, this one just happens to be the newest addition to the collection as of the date of this review.Any of her coloring books are great ones and you can't go wrong when you're purchasing them. So order your copy today and get coloring to a state of relaxation and stress-free life!

Another wonderful book in the Extreme Stress Menders series from Angie Grace. Challenging yet relaxing designs. Good with markers, pencils or gel pens. If using markers, place a piece of paper between pages if you do not tear them out to avoid bleed through. I have only colored a few pages, but love every one so far. I never get tired of coloring her designs. Many fun pages in this book.

love many of the books by Angie Grace. Her patterns are right "up my alley" when it comes to tight patterns and designs that have small spaces to be filled in. Not all the patterns in the books are like this but being that i love to work with the gel pens I tend not to like the desiogns that have huge open areas to color and finding books like these are almost impossible to find. As a matter of fact they have become impossible at any of the stores i go to - so that now i have simply reordered my favorites in the Angie Grace collection offered and will be coloring all over again. After all the coloring is just for me and I can do even just one pattern 10 times and each one will be different!! SO for those that really really like these and find it hard to get anything near the patterns....just buy them again!!

It's like each of Angie Grace's stress menders coloring books is a little different. Maybe not a lot different, but enough to get the mind focusing on color choices for each particular design. I love these books, and this one has very very few designs I am indifferent to. I want to color them all! That is why I buy each new book as it comes out! I don't know how Angie Grace comes up with these intricate (sometimes mind-bogglingly intricate) designs, but I am glad she has the gift for this, because I love coloring them. I use a variety of brands of colored pencils to do these, and have never had any color bleed through. With markers, a backing sheet would be a good idea. Frankly, I use a backing sheet no matter what, so I can press hard with some colors and not have there be any indentation.The only thing I would really really love to see is to have the pages perforated for greater ease of getting them out of the book. That would be a most welcome improvement, and the only one needed!

Okay book. When I started coloring, Angie Grace were some of my favorite books. Now that I have bought so many others, and after buying at least a dozen Grace books, I tend to find hers rather boring. There is nothing really new to these. I like the concept, but I feel that the Extreme Stress Menders line of pictures are too similar to most of her other lines of books. I would like to see more variety in her books. May buy again in the future if the lines improve. As it is, I have this book and at least two others that I will be giving away.

I only wish that there were more books to this series. The patterns are OK but I enjoy coloring from "the inside out" "or in the round". I love the amount of detail on each page. I use colored pencils but am left handed so the first thing I do when I have a new book is deconstruct it. I keep 3 or 4 pages from the same book on one of two clipboards. Between the two clipboards I manage to do three or four pages per day. Like many others adult coloring books for me help with chronic pain control. I would rather spend my $$$ on books and supplies than the RX from my doctor.

This book should be read along with Ericsson's Peak and Duckworth's Grit. They both support the science that talent has been away for some to explain away and dismiss the enormous amount of time and effort (now known as deliberate practice and purposeful practice) that individuals devote to being great at somethings. It really is an insult to the top tennis players that they must have talent when in actuality they sacrifice a lot in their lives that we choose to do--like they get up at 4am to practice while others are still asleep. Know what what want and know what you believe is the authors last idea. If we believe that hard work and deliberate practice are the starting point and tools to be great at something then this books removes the excuses and asks, "So now what's your excuse for not working hard to be the best?" Be careful reading this book and consider yourself warned. You may actually become great at the "what" in life that you've always dreamed about. Great dreams and dreams of being great at something really can become a reality!!

I read this book several months ago, and have had time to digest it's message, which is essentially what the title says. I agree with it on many fronts that dedicated hard work leads to excellence. However, I do believe that "talent" does exist, and cannot be duplicated simply with hard work. For example, my singing voice is awful. If I dedicated my whole life to singing, it might go from awful to tolerable, or perhaps a bit better, but I'd always be the nitwit on the X Factor who goes on and the judges make a face like they just drank a shot of lemon juice while I'm crooning away. And likewise, I ran spring track in high school, and one year in college. And I've more or less jogged 2-3 times a week for a few miles at 10 min pace since (I'm now 34). However, when I lace up my shoes at a local 5K, I can still crank out 5:45ish miles and soundly beat many people who have cumulatively trained much harder for much longer than I have,even if I haven't run a sub 6 min mile in over a year. Not that I am the best in the world, because I'm not, but that is talent. That is something that most people cannot do if their lives were dedicated to it.Let's face it that dedicated hard work will produce top results. I agree with that. However, if you take two people, one with a natural aptitude towards something, and another without that aptitude, if both people put in the same exact dedicated hard work, the one with the natural aptitude will always do better. It's just a fact.So my bottom line review of the book is that it will make you think, and realize that dedicated hard work is what all people do who excel in a particular endeavor. However, it's not fair or accurate to say that we can all be great at anything other than the obvious would preclude us from (a 6'10" person trying to be a gymnast, or a 4'10" person trying to be in the NBA). I think a better title for the book would be "Talent Will Only Get You So Far".Yet, with that said, it is a book worth reading, as it will make you realize that people who are good at something are good because they have paid dues beyond what the average person is inclined to do.

In this book, Geoff Colvin explores controversies about talent -- including the idea it may not exist.And something called "deliberate practice" may be more significant. Deliberate practice isn't mindless repetition. It's hard. It hurts. And the more you do it, the closer you move to greatness.Where Did The Idea of Innate Talent Originate?Colvin traces it to Francis Galton, 19th century English aristocrat and college dropout. Galton and his peers believed that people came into the world with pretty much the same capabilities, which they developed (or not) throughout their lives. This concept arose from the Age of Enlightenment and the French Revolution -- liberté, égalité, fraternité and all that.Then Galton's cousin Charles Darwin published On The Origin Of Species. It inspired Galton to change his tune and write a book called Hereditary Genius, which influenced the next several generations.Does Talent Even Exist?Scientists haven't yet discovered what all our 20,000-plus genes do. They've yet to identify specific genes that govern particular talents.What About Mozart?Mozart wrote music at age 5, gave public performances at age 8, and composed some of the world's most beautiful symphonies before his death at age 35. Yet a close look at Mozart's background reveals:His father, Leopold, was an expert music teacher who published a violin textbook the year Mozart was born.Leopold systematically instructed Mozart from at least age 3 (probably sooner).Mozart's first four piano concertos, composed at age 11, contained no original music. He cobbled them together from other composers' works.Mozart composed his first original masterpiece, the Piano Concerto No. 9, at age 21. That's a remarkable achievement, but by then he'd gone through eighteen years of intense, expert training.Colvin concludes that years of deliberate practice can actually change the body and the brain, which is why world-class performers are different from the rest of us. But they didn't start that way, which is great news for late bloomers like me! It's never too late to follow a passion, especially if "world-class" is not your goal. This book is accessible and tightly written. I highly recommend it if the subject even vaguely interests you.

Good book for agents that want to "explode" their business but not very helpful for those of us that just want to be an agent and do a good job. Most of the information was how to add employees to your business model. The better book for a realtor is "The seven levels of communication" by Michael J.Mayer; great hands on learning advise!!!!

This book sat on my bookshelf for three months before I even cracked the cover. I wish I opened it sooner. This is a great guide to becoming a successful agent and building a lasting business. The models within are scalable, so if you prefer to set more modest goals and then progress to a million, this book will get you there. This book helps me plan my activities to benefit me now, while being a road map to get my business where I want it to be in the future.

I have yet to obtain my real estate license but purchased this book to give me insight before I get started. This book can be of huge value for any entrepreneur regardless of industry. I am certain my future success will be propelled from the knowledge and wisdom in Gary Keller's book.

As a brand new agent, I read this book hoping to get tips and tricks of the trade. While I did get some great advice for is to grow my business I was hoping to get a few more basic starting out instructions.

I would suggest every new agent read this book.

Explains step by step how to make it BIG in the Real Estate industry. Very easy to read, and the author drills it in your head on what to focus on: Leads, Listings, and Leverage! 7th Level here I come!!

Book has a lot of great advice that can be for any selling career not just real estate. I started to read it and stopped and started over just so I can highlight and take notes! Worth every penny!

Superb book. From the mindset development to specific information on how to create, scale, and maintain a real estate sales business, this is a great book.

About the Author

Ana Claudia Domene was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 40. Ms. Domene carefully explains the world-renown treatment plan by Brasilian neurologist Cicero Galli Coimbra, MD, PhD that includes daily vitamin D doses of up to 200,000 iu! In short, her words of success and knowledge serve as an inspiration for anyone who is touched by the potentially ravaging autoimmune disease called multiple sclerosis.

I have wondered, for 4+ years now, if very high dose Vitamin D will also work for many other diseases.Not just work, but perhaps fully treat if the disease has not progressed too far. I have wondered how many people who are able to achieve 40-60 nanograms of vitamin D in their blood are still not able to get a good level in their cells due to gene problems. That is, their vitamin D levels test as being good, but their cells are not getting the benefit.I wonder how much his success rate (80%?) would be improved if he were to add Omega-3 and Magnesium to his protocol

The book I needed. Includes well desciribed experience of dr Coimbra patients suffering from autoimmunological desieses (mostly MS) with high doses Vitamin D treatment. The book inludes recent information about the institutions (including webpage adresses) leading this kind of therapy, about internet forums of patients. I found it usefull in the procees of decisionmaking regarding to commence the treatment. Realistic, but giving lots of hope.

I can't stress this enough: It's a groundbreaking and almost miraculous treatment. Based on thousands of scientific articles. It works. Better than DMDs. It's simple. No collateral effects other than having to keep an eye on the calcium levels and adhering to a low calcium diet. It's safe. No reason to not give it a shot.I personally know dozens of patient that not only stopped MS progression, but even got better from previous lesions. Both clinically and in the MRIs. There are even support Facebook groups (search for Coimbra Protocol) where you can interact with other patients and share the results and progresses. Yes, it's amazing.

This author does a good job relating her experiences, as well as the scientific research, which explains the physiological processes of the immune system. My sister has MS and the treatment withVitamin D works. She doesn't use interferon anymore and after 2 years without any flare from the disease. The diet is dificult because you can't eat any source of calcium (milk, dairy, ice-cream, cheese, enriched calcium processed foods). But I think that worth it.
