About the Author
Cheol S. Eun (Ph.D., NYU, 1981) is a professor of finance and currently holds the Thomas R. Williams Chair in International Finance at Georgia Institute of Technology. Before joining Georgia Tech, he taught at Kent State University, University of Minnesota, and the University of Maryland, and at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has published extensively on international finance issues in such major journals as the Journal of Finance, JFQA, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Portfolio Management, Management Science, and Oxford Economic Papers. Currently he is an associate editor of the Journal of Banking and Finance, Global Finance Journal, European Financial Management. Professor Eun has taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels and was the winner of the Krowe Teaching Excellence Award at the University of Maryland and has served as a consultant to many national and international organizations.

Work as a Sr. Treasury Analyst for a MNC. I feel like I should memorize this book for my upcoming Treasury Management System project. It is a globally-oriented book. A few more examples down to the layman's level may have helped just to take the decision making & cost savings to a level that the average person can understand. But that's what the classroom is for.Very practical book. One of the few textbooks I will keep after my MBA as a reference & know I will use.
Nice read if you are interested in understanding international finance, good section on Forex
Don't let the title intimidate you. I learned alot just by reading the book.
Pretentious. Not better than similar.
International financial management is not an easy topic. The book does a good job in explaining and providing relatively recent examples.
I must say that dealing with International Exchange Rates at such an advanced level is a great experience for me, the author was very informative and comprehensive, I read it and immediately understand how these rates is applied. My best Chapter so far was Chapter 9 I am in my 14th Chapter and I am clearly understanding the instruments and issues. Again this book is recommended.
