Great pocket planner with large enough calendar boxes to write in appointments. It also has a section on the side for every month where you can write notes. I am looking forward to using this in 2019 and am very pleased with this purchase.

I purchased this pocket calendar for tracking my work schedule. I'm employed at a college dining hall and love the food theme. Pages are thick with a coating that makes it durable to carry in my purse all year long. The coating allows writing without smudges. This is my second calendar and will order another for 2020.

I buy one of these every year in November. I love the purse-size, the graphics are crisp and the construction is durable. It always makes me makes me smile.

I like to write my appointments down .... not type it into my phone with little keys and a little screen... and I just use highliters to mark down weekly standing appointments.. I love my old school calendar. Had this brand in 2018 and looked for 2019 because it worked very well for me.

I recently visited Nigeria for the first time. Business trip. This is not a guide book in any traditional sense but an overview of Nigerian history and customs. It certainly helped me to navigate the culture and to avoid faux pas (I think).

Well written book telling of culture, geography and historical information of Nigeria. Well researched. Well written.

This is not the first time I have purchased a book from this series. I have used one on Sweden as well as others. This one on Nigeria is accurate and straightforward. This is a country with a poor reputation for dishonesty, greed, and corruption yet the author addresses these subjects head on and does not duck the issues. I appreciated the honesty and have scheduled a trip to see a friend there in the next 6 months. I am hoping for a success.

This is more about how to get along if you're staying in Nigeria a long time rather than if you're visiting. But it's still an interesting book. I didn't need it though, because I was just visiting Nigeria.

All the information in this book was "spot on". I used it before traveling to Jos, Nigeria to visit missionary friends who had been living there for 4 years. They verified and reinforced everything in the book. I have recommended it to them and others.

The overall style is colorful and very girl-oriented, but not at the expense of a lot of information for those interested in knowing as much about the yoga poses as possible.Each card covers just about everything you would want to know about a pose: tips on doing the pose correctly, how long to hold it, where to focus your gaze, other poses that transition well, and counterposes. Each card also has quotes from famous people as well as inspirations from the author. Though it may seem like a lot of information for one card, the layout is well organized and user-friendly.The deck is organized by categories such as Warm Up, Work in, Wind Down, and Yoga to Go. The Yoga to Go section has sequences to try and poses to consider when stressed, tired, or suffering from certain ailments like headaches.While the poses are the same as the ones covered in the book (the same photographs) there is more information about each individual pose on the cards. Craig Attebery is a native southern Californian. He graduated from ArtCenter College of Design, USA, in 1980, receiving a BFA with Honors. He then completed his MFA studies at Otis/Parsons Art Institute, USA, in 1984. Craig has worked as a freelance illustrator for advertising agencies, science books, and the entertainment industry, as well as creating conceptual art for JPL/NASA and the aerospace industry. Craig’s illustrations have appeared in many publications including Newsweek and Time magazines. As the owner of a 2018 Camaro, I enjoyed reading and perusing the car's history. I like Mr. Newhardt's writing style - very informative, with a witty sense of humor. My only fault with the book was the smaller amount of coverage given to the sixth-generation Camaro, which began with the 2016 model year.

For the Camaro lover this book is a must! My brother is mad for these cars, and when I gave this to him, we lost him in it for the rest of the day.

This book appears to be intended as an introductory piece for the residential homeowner or individual that has little or no knowledge on geothermal systems & the differences in system types that exist. The book does a fairly decent job In so far as that introduction to the subject is concerned. Additionally, it does provide some introduction to the concept of heat transfer and HVAC principles for the layman/consumer. The remainder of the subject matter is essentially 3 things: 1) a bit of good advertising, 2) some self-promotional hype and 3) just a touch of rambling-salesmen thrown in for decent effect.That being said, there are lots of good general facts - but the reader should be aware that many of the authors opinions are intermixed with those facts, someone not familiar with the subject matter already may not readily recognize the transition.

Highly recommended!

Complete crap, you will have to PAY for an advertisement for the author's own service. No real facts or useful information, everything is "beyond the scope of this book" If you had just left out the shameful self-promotion you would have had room for -- I don't know -- a book about geo-thermal HVAC!

If your are looking for a fluffy "green energy" book, or a hard core book with tons of calculations, this is not your book. But, if you want to understand whether or not this technology makes sense for your installation, Jay's book will be the best $60 or so you ever spend. It can save you thousands of dollars and keep your contractor on track.This book is the current bible on geothermal heating and cooling for those wanting to understand what makes sense and what doesn't. It is an excellent resource for an HVAC or plumbing professional trying to understand what is involved before screwing up their first installation, or to learn why the system they installed is not performing they way they want. Although some of the reviewers find Jay's style and examples to be too personal, all the stories of what went wrong, what went right, and what he has learned over decades in the business make for an easy reading but fact filled jewel for both a homeowner considering geothermal alternatives, and the professional looking for a leg up in a rapidly growing business.All too often tax credits create installers who tout a new technology, overcharge for it, and then disappear. Several years ago, I was lucky enough to bump into Bob Posch, an expert in the commercial HVAC. He lead me in the right direction before books like Jay's were available and kept me from making any major mistakes in my on geothermal heat pump installation. Jay's book clearly explains why my system works well and is my guide for two more installations in my home and that of my mother-in-law.Bottom line is: Whether you are a homeowner seeking answers or a contractor, experienced in geothermal installations or not, you well be very well-served by stopping what you are doing right now and ordering this book.

Its a VERY dry read.

I recently became acquainted with Geothermal HVAC; a green, money saving technology and wanted to find out more. As we all know the internet can roughly explain anything to you, but I wanted a more detailed explanation before I even considered purchasing a system. I looked around to see if there was a simple book or website on the subject and I found "Geothermal HVAC, Green Heating and Cooling" by Jay Egg and Brian Howard Clark. This book told me everything that I wanted and needed to know. From the basics of what geothermal is, heat pumps and how they apply, ground loops (open and closed), load sharing, system efficiency, load calculations, reasonable prices, local and federal incentives, tax credits and rebates, project proposals and so much more. The book contained detailed descriptions as well as pictures and graphs. I was surprised by how easy the authors made the subject seem and thoroughly enjoyed their personal humor and anecdotes. I feel so much more comfortable about pursuing geothermal HVAC for my home after reading this book.

This book did not live up to my expectations.It is not a serious handbook about system engineering,but written for people who are pretty clueless about the subject.As such it over priced in my opinion.
